A faceless portrait

I usually have absolutely zero interest in portraits.  They are boring.  When I saw Chris Cran's intriguing painting at Clint Roenisch Gallery on Saturday, I remember seeing it there two years ago.  It is an unboring portrait painting.

  1. I like this one from 1990. It reminds me of portrait of Twin Peakes' Agent Cooper that a friend of us painted at the Art Academy (around the same time too).

  2. Would aptly portray the double life of a Twin Peak character.
