Spinnerei Kunst und Architektur

I stopped at Leipzig again on my way back to Berlin today.  I decided to visit the Spinnerei just outside the city centre of Leipzig.  The site was a cotton-spinning factory complex from the 19th century, which has turned into an artist colony along with a cluster of galleries in recent years.  Many of its buildings are still in varying derelict states:

Showing at Werkschau as part of the group exhibition Viaggio In Italia: Italienische Reise 2010-2012 is a projection/photographic installation by Valerio Figuccio and Michael Petri titled Carte Blanche, which fits the architecture of the Spinnerei perfectly:
