1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

It was a busy day gallery hopping yesterday, and, as exciting as making new friends, it was my first time visiting all those galleries although it's my fourth visit to Berlin.  I spent most of my time in the Lindenstraße Galerienhaus (with more than half a dozen art galleries open yesterday) but I found my most favourite show in another part of town.  If you know how big a Kraftwerk fan I am, you won't be surprised to see why I love 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 at Berlin's Sprüth Magers.  It's a 3D video installation by my all-time most favourite band.  The title of the installation refers to the eight videos they are showing in 3D:

1. Autobahn (1974)
2. Radio-Aktivität (1975)
3. Trans Europa Express (1977)
4. Die Mensch-Maschine (1978)
5. Computerwelt (1981)
6. Techno Pop (1986)
7. The Mix (1991)
8. Tour de France (2003)

Here are some stills of the video projection:

I even got these 3D-spectacles they provided as a priceless souvenir:
