Tom Thomson's Last Spring
Back in Toronto last night ...
I've been following this on twitter recently: Tom Thomson's Last Spring is a blog/journal witnessing the last days of the Canadian legendary painter Tom Thomson leading to his mysterious death in the spring of 1917 as would have been documented by the painter himself. The accompanying tweets include countless images of Thomson's paintings alongside "live tweets" from 99 years ago.

Sunny Tulse Hill
It was a sunny afternoon when I visited Jaime Gili's newly renovated studio space in Tulse Hill, London yesterday. It's been two years since I last came. It's really great to see an old friend with his new paintings.
