Just got back to Toronto last night ...
Saving the best for last, I visited Tate Modern yesterday, the morning before I finished my brief London trip. The show on view is my favourite Gerhard Richter's career-long survey so far, Panorama. The collection is very comprehensive, tracing Richter's various styles from different periods - from photopainting in the 60s to grey monochromes and colour charts in the 70s to squeegee abstracts in the 80s and 90s, and of course his glass pane installations too. The only regret is that no photography was allowed. So I'm just pulling out some of my older pictures here.
