Although my degree of satisfaction usually declines with the scale of group exhibitions (art fairs are particularly disappointing), I must admit that my little hike to the far west of T.O. to see 60 Painters yesterday was well worth it. The show was very well curated. Most works are abstract and recent, and they all complement each other. Colette Laliberté's wall "painting" with black tape, Legacy, got my biggest vote. Coincidentally, I'm also working on my own wall "painting" with white tape just recently.
