Drawing For Free Thinking

I saw a couple of good shows yesterday but none allowed photography.  So I have no pictures to show.  First, there's Radical Geometry: Modern Art Of South America at Royal Academy of Arts.  It's another highlight of my entire European trip - very inspiring and informative.  Then there's Giulio Paolini's To Be Or Not To Be at Whitechapel Gallery - solid conceptual stuff but interesting.  I'll just post some more pictures from London here the previous day.

3 Drawing Rooms

I took a day trip to Birmingham yesterday.  It was David Tremlett's show 3 Drawing Rooms that brought me there.  Tremlett's site-specific wall drawings dramatically alter the way the architecture of the gallery space is perceived.
