Screen And Décor

The group exhibition Screen And Décor at Toronto's Justina M. Barnicke Gallery revealed the effects of digital media on art making.  It's an exhibition in two layers: in addition to the various artists showing, the exhibition space itself is an installation with panes of coloured plexiglas designed by Louise Witthöft & Rodney LaTourelle.  I had to double the time I spent inside the gallery: first look at the individual works on view, then the works behind Witthöft & LaTourelle's layers of coloured screens.
