The exhibition Somebody Everybody Nobody currently at Toronto's Scrap Metal explores the heavy subject of life and death.  I went there on a bone-chilling day in March.

Mystical geological de Haan

Representing Prairies and the North, Jason de Haan is the other finalist for the 2012 Sobey Art Award that I like.  Described as mystical geology, de Haan's works are poetically captivating, often with arresting transcendence.
