The Weather Project

I visited London the first time in December, 2003.  I was so inspired by things I saw and places I visited that I have been going back year after year, multiple times a year, since then.  There is one show from that first visit that has impressed me most profoundly.  I still remember the great contrast between the depressing grey gloom outside Tate Modern's misty Turbine Hall and the golden imitation sun of Olafur Eliasson's The Weather Project inside.  That strong experience is unforgettable.
