Playground Tangier
Heading back to Berlin today, I'm on the move again ...
Yto Barrada's silent three-channel video installation Playground addresses, as a result of globalization, the transformation of Tangier, the city where she grew up in. One of the three projections shows the construction boom happening in the city. In Barrada's own words, she finds her "nervous system connected to this place" although "in some ways Tangier does not exist; it is constantly changing."
