Fresh Flowers

David Hockney first started his iPhone paintings in 2008.  He was soon emailing his iPhone sketches, often of flowers, to his friends.  In 2009, Hockney exhibited his iPhone works for the first time in London.  His groundbreaking works, now also done on iPads, have finally arrived in North America here in Toronto.  I went to see his show, titled Fresh Flowers, at the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) today.
