Bowyer's Flat Space

I went to Nuit Blanche last night.  One of the projects I looked forward to seeing this year was Peter Bowyer's spatial intervention Flat Space, which was the performance of his current show Five at Paul Petro Contemporary Art.

Unfortunately, I cannot show a good picture from last night because of the swarming crowd, which was yet another performance.

Sosnowska K21

K21 is one of my favourite art museums.  It keeps bringing me back to Düsseldorf every year.  Uwe Kiessler repurposed the former Ständehaus, which was reopened in 2002 to exhibit contemporary art including the recent large-scaled installation Die Treppe by Monika Sosnowska:

Saraceno's cloud cities

Tomás Saraceno's Labor project challenges the traditional idea of space, time and gravity.  His very original "cloud cities" are floating cloud-like cell towns with a structure of soap bubbles existing as individual cells yet also capable of connecting to each other.

Squeezed Coherent States

Even for someone like me, who's rarely moved by photography, Jessica Eaton's experimental photographic works from her current solo exhibition Squeezed Coherent States are brilliant.
