Russell Carhouse

The annual Doors Open Toronto is usually not high on my wish list because of the buildings chosen as well as the sheer crowds.  This year, I did visit one of their listed sites - the TTC Russell Carhouse.  My perennial interest in industrial buildings brought me there.  Luckily the crowds were attracted to the future and the vintage streetcars they're showing, like ants to honey.  I could then easily take pictures of the mostly unvisited periphery of this century-old industrial premise.
