I was so excited to visit Montrรฉal a week ago to attend the MUTEK concert of Tristan Perich's Infinity Gradient with organist James McVinnie's performance accompanied by Perich's 100 1-bit speakers. The immersive droning soundscape with shards of electronic noise is mesmerizingly beautiful. Here are some excerpts of Perich's composition. ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

As I remember my late parents on their wedding anniversary today ...
The course of my life changed forever when I moved to Canada with my parents in August some years ago. These videos remind me of the time when my life restarted in my new homeland.

I dedicate this song, on this Mother’s Day, to my dear mom, who passed away almost three years ago. This song reminds me, for some personal reason, of her and the city of Hamburg - both I miss very much. I am still able to visit Hamburg any time but I cannot see Mom again any more. Pride month still overflowing with love …
I used to follow the love story of Christian and Olli from the German soap opera Verbotene Liebe when I first became interested in learning German in the late 2000s/early 2010s. Here are some clips accompanied by Snow Patrol's Run, 2004:
This is the 1983 original video of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Relax that was censored. Not really my aesthetics. But it's the 80s - what can you do? I do applaud the song for its gutsy challenge to conventionality. Sit back, relax, and enjoy:
