My visit to Malmö Konsthall yesterday opened up my perspective of the Nordic art scene. Their current exhibition 24 Spaces - A Cacophony, with participating units from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Scotland and Sweden, is a showcase of present and future trajectories of Nordic contemporary art. I was most impressed by the artists from Iceland's Kling & Bang Galleri. Most of their works on view employ light as an major component.

I have always wanted to visit Iceland. Kling & Bang has given me another reason to go. But for my trip now, I am heading back to Germany - to Bremen - today.
