I love walking down Frank Gehry's staircases every time I visit the contemporary art 4th and 5th floors of Toronto's AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario).  Here's the view while walking down the central atrium staircase from the 4th floor after seeing Stephen Andrews's show a few weeks ago:

Though not my favourite place in Toronto to see art, I love visiting the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) every once in a while just to feel the lofty spaces created by Frank Gehry in 2008, and of course the fine architectural details too.  Shots from Galleria Italia couple weeks ago:

Gehry + Kapoor

The Art Institute of Chicago is a really HUGE museum.  I spent the entire day there yesterday but only managed to visit the newest Modern Wing.  Right next to it is the Millennium Park, which is dominated by the unmistakable Frank Gehry-designed 2004 Pritzker Pavilion:

Nearby is Anish Kapoor's very popular sculpture Cloud Gate, which seems to attract a bigger and bigger crowd every time I visit Chicago:

Gehry Brandenburg

Berlin's Brandenburger Tor is one of the most well-known landmarks of Germany:

Right behind Brandenburger Tor is Frank Gehry's 2000 DZ Bank, an important landmark of Germany's financial landscape.  The building looks pretty humble outside but very extravagant inside:

Architecture of new Berlin

Can't believe it's already the end of my twelve days in Berlin.  Since all art galleries are closed on Mondays, it's another architecture day for me.  I'll post pictures of some of the contemporary architecture I've seen during my stay in this vibrant city.
